Incredible Edible Marple has been formed as a sub group of MESS to grow food in Marple.
We are starting small, with just four beds, and want to grow herbs such as parsley,
thyme, oregano and rosemary.

The idea is that we will have signs in beds telling people what the plants are. They will then be able to help themselves. The vegetables vary and could be peas, beans, kale, purple sprouting broccoli, lettuce, ruby chard and spinach. There may
also be flowers such as sunflowers, nasturtiums, marigolds and calendula to attract vital
pollinating insects to the beds, as well as strawberries and tomatoes.

The existing beds are in Marple precinct and Stockport Road.
